Lost Quaker Parrot - Salem, South Carolina - July 2009 Lost July 6th on Hwy 130 near Salem SC, Whitewater Falls Road. Flew west or south towards Wahalla or Seneca. Young bird 12 months,not banded, with then new flight feathers and some chipping on tail feathers. Has cardinal/osprey like calls. Makes a squeaka-squeaka call when she hears a table saw or sand paper. Says "right" and loves the kissing sound. Likes Zucchini best;) Knows "step - up" Was on vacation, so bird did not know area.
