Wind, FOUND from Sterling Heights!!!

Wind, now and then, changed Pearl Cockatiel
We Have found our Birdy!!! Wind has been missing from Sterling Heights, MI since 02/02/2008,found about 12/20/2008, three miles from our home, apparently making his way back to us. Trouble was, when the lady who found him called us, we did recognize his sounds, but when we rushed over there, we didnt recognize him at all. The lady had us take him home anyway, and about five days later, this beautiful normal grey who used to be a Lutino-Pearl-Pied, got a bunch of baths that allowed the leftover spots to show through!!! We began comparing the lost Wind to the now suspected found one,a nd they do indeed match!!!Wind is slowly adapting to us,after having been outside for ten and a half months on his own, he is on a strong antibiotic, and is beginning to act like himself again, he was very ill and cold when found, and after being chased by one finder back in March,we are almost surprised he went to anyone at all, but thank god he did!!! So,anyone who has lost a Pearl, or anyone who has found one: You must take special care as they change completley if Male, like ours did!! Please pics to illustrate this change, however,his face is the same,with a few spots on his head,he may not lose those!!! He lost his yellow tail, colorful bars and stripes,everything except the face colors! Also ,DONT GIVE UP-YOUR BIRD MAY COME BACK!!!!!
