I think a quaker parrot is living in the area of 47th Avenue and Bethany Home Road. 3 houses up (north of bethany) on the west side of 47th avenue in a large palm tree. There are actually a pair of them and I hear and see them fairly regularly. Sure looks like the bird you lost, except I can't tell if he has a band on his leg. If I see that he has a band on his leg, I'll send you an email and verify.
