These great parrot pictures came in from Long Island, New York. Ok, Fritz is cute at 4 months old, but the kids "steal the show."
"Fritz is 4 months old. Laura is 12, Faith is 6 and Willy is 4. We live in Wantagh, New York. At First the kid were almost afraid of Fritz because as you know he can be very loud but that lasted about 15 minutes before they all wanted him to be on their arm or shoulder. Willy has taken charge of him as his own personal best friend."

"Fritz was born on 1-22-2003 and although Fritz is still a baby he is very sweet and gentle. The kids all love to take turns taking him for walks on their shoulder. Oh by the way, the dog is Cee Cee - always getting into the act."

Landel from Sherman, Texas sent in this great Senegal Parrot pic of Shadow.

As Landel says, "I am 14 years old and have had a fasination of birds for a while. I have over 200 volunteer hours at a bird rehab center in Huchens, Texas. My senegal parrot and I are best buds.

Shadow has been a member in our family for almost a year now. He is mostly attached to me but he is very sweet. He likes to pose for pictures like this one where he is in his sailors hat. I would recommend a senegel parrot to anyone who wants a playful and clear speaking parrot."

Laurie from Annapolis, Maryland sent in these great parrot pictures of Chewy, her Senegal Parrot.
Laurie says "My 16 Week old Senegal, Chewy, is the love of my life!! He goes to work with me and is sitting on my shoulder trying to go to sleep. I would recommend this Parrot breed to anyone who wants a companion with a playful spirit! Birds Rawk!"

By the way, Chewy's full name is
Chewbacca Fusillious Powell.

Brandy from Georgia sent in this pic of the beautiful Cockatiel, Buddy. .

Brandy says "This is a pic of my cockatiel Buddy that my dad got me in 1996. He is a silly bird and can do many cute things but also can be aggravating at times. Sometimes I wake up to find him sitting on me or on my pillow and when I leave the room he goes crazy."

Kathleen from Missouri sent in these pictures of Shanannigans. .

Kathleen says: "Shanannigans is about 10 yrs old. We got him when he was about 5. He loves to shread different colored post-it notes when I'm at the computer."

"He doesn't do alot of talking, just some mumbling, and says "Woe!!" when you first pick him up and he thinks your moving him too fast. He also sounds just like the phones. All of them and their individual rings. He only likes me though, so I think he's a boy. He never did warm up to the kids."

Linda sent in these pics of Nikki, a Double Yellow Headed Amazon... Linda says, "I could never have dreamed he would bring me so much pleasure. He is my baby. I have heard it said that it is trained responses and reactions but I think I disagree. Some things are just so spontaneous and sincere and not rote."

"He loves to play. One of his favorites is "peek-a boo". He will actually hide his head and say "where's Nikki" and "there he is". He loves his toys which we try to keep an abundance of."
