Lost scarlet Macaw - Troutville, Virginia - Jan. 2008 I had a 5yr old scarlet macaw, he was fully flighted, and i had him in my living room, when the wind blew my storm door really hard and it caused a very loud slam, it scared my bird, and he took flight upstairs and out my daughters window. He has been gone since Jan 10,2008. I have searched all over, and no luck. I miss him very much. I lost my job because I've been so depressed with losing my buddy, I havn't been working much because i can't focus, i just hope he's being taken care of good. I am hoping to find another macaw,but i don't have very much money, i will never find one to replace my old bird "apollo", but i think it may help to get another one to help fill the void i have. does anyone know where I can find one in need of a good home, free or very cheap please??????
