Lost Lutino Cockatiel - Devon, Alberta, Canada - Aug 28, 2007

Percy accidently flew out the back door of our house on August 28, 2007.

Percy is a one year old (turned in May) hand tamed Lutino Cockatiel. He was my Birthday present in January, and I spoilt him rotten! He is extremely friendly, knows several commands (Go Home = go to your cage, Step-Up = Step up onto someones hand, we were just starting to work on COME!) He LOVES sitting on shoulders, so much so that it's often hard to get him off. He was just starting to get really strong at flying and trying to find me on his own in the house. Percy does NOT like being locked in his cage for extended periods of time. He usually spent at least half the day either on my shoulder or nearby on the back of the couch or on his playgym in the computer room.

Percy and I were very, very bonded to one another and I miss him TERRIBLY! (Still in tears writing this after almost a month of him missing.) He is my BABY! I am very worried living on the edge of town where we do that he might have flown off to the ravine and gotten lost, or out of town to a farm somewhere, or been attacked by a Falcon.

ANY information on the whereabouts of Percy would be GREATLY appreciated. If someone in the area has found a handfull of yellow feathers in their yard, I want to know. If someone's cat brought him in dead, I want to know. If you know of someone who found a bird matching his description and they've decided to keep him for themselves, I just NEED to know that he is safe!
