by Bob Karrow
(Oak Park, Illinois)

Green Parrots seen - Oak Park, Illinois - Jan 1, 2008

We have a pair of green parrots at our bird feeder right now, 1 Jan. 08. Can these be wild birds, or are they lost domestics?

Parrots feeding
by: Lynette Sandors

I saw six parrots eating the berries from a tree by the parking lot next to the Lake/Marion el stop. A wonderful sight on a winter's day.

Green Parrots in Oak Park
by: Anonymous

I Saw a flock of green parrots today in oak park. Near Loretto Hospital (about I290 & Cicero). At the very least there were ten, I am pretty sure there were more.

Does anyone know where they came from?
