Wild Green Parrots at Park Forest Apts.
by: Dick Workman

I have seen these wild green parrots for 3 years now in flocks of 15 or more. I live behind several food establishments and they have been seen in the parking lots feeding in great numbers. I usually send them the most in the Fall as they like the live oak tree acorns. They fly over numerous times a day and squawk! I have looked at them through binoculars and they are beautiful! I don't know where they came from, probably Mexico or the Texas valley area. They are medium sized birds and are beautiful to behold!
