Do falcons go after African Greys? I am worried that a falcon might have gotten my friend.

Falcons/Hawks

My Bird has been missing from Sterling Heights,MI,and there are Hawks everywhere here, but he was sighted just a week ago.My Bird is very outside human shy,and I think they are scared enough that they can be successful at eluding them.We only heard my Bird calling on the evening of 03/20/2008,and there are several Hawks I sighted in that area.I think those kinds of Birds like ground feeders ,like rats, sparrows, and an escaped Bird does not go to ground often.Your Bird is large, leave no stone unturned, and check your surrounding states,or even farther, don't let anyone tell you where to look, and advertise everywhere,go door to door to hand people fliers.Your fear is real, but I think a Birds natural instinct is to first keep itself safe.Good Luck, let us know what is happening.

I know that they can, but A African Grey is very strong and a fighter. Don't stop looking for your baby. Your friend needs you.
