Found Cockatiel - Whitestone, New York - May 28, 2008

This morning May 28, 2008, I found a beautiful Cockatiel: grey back, white wing, yellow head with greenish-yellow tuft, also with bright orange cheeks. Appears very healthy!!

I am a Long Island Parrot Society member and have a Yellow Collared Mini Macaw. I can not keep this bird because my husband and I travel a lot.......and must board our bird with Dr. Monaco which is very expensive.

A girl friend and I can care for this bird properly for about two weeks. I've isolated the little bird in my studio, it has the right diet, water, warmth and a good place to sleep.

The bird was found in Whitestone, NY. (Beechhurst part of Whitestone, facing the Throgs Neck bridge.)

My address is:
