Lost Cockatiel - New Tazewell, Tennessee - May 1, 2008

My pet Cockatiel of 11 years, "Joey" was outside when a gust of wind knocked over his cage on May 1, 2008 outside of New Tazewell, TN. He had flown off in a panic by the time I reached his cage.

There are many bird feeders and houses in the area, so I definitely feel he is out there, but could have been disoriented and can't find his way home. Claiborne County is VERY rural, so he could be on anyone's farm talking up the local birds.

He is Grey with yellow and orange facial accents. He responds to the name "Joey-Joey," whistles cat-calls and the theme song to "Dallas" constantly. He is very friendly and loves to land on stranger's heads, and will kiss with a kissing noise.

He may have even flown into Kentucky or the Cumberland-Gap area. We have had him for over a decade and miss him dearly, please call us if you find him. Richard (530) 613-0696.
