We found our Blue and Gold Macaw

WE FOUND NICE'!!!

After days of searching, someone reported him a few blocks from home. Some reports of him were further, but he slowly came closer and closer to home!!!

Employed a crane crew and some tree service climbers and baby is back home. It's truly a miracle.

Thank you for the listing during his absence.

We got her back!
by: Joel

We finally got her back! After 24 hours in the rain and in the top of the tree. I think we had 1/2 the town stopping by wondering what were doing.
Ended up someone stopped by who knew of a neigbor who trims trees. With his & others help, a few ladders, some climbing gear and a long long pole she finally flew down, of course after flying to another tree first.

The tree trimmer said this was the first time he climbed up a wet tree and he did slide down once, lucky he had his gear on.

She is now home, dry and warm.

Crane & tree service info
by: Joel

My Macaw just flew away today and we know what tree she is in and can see her from time to time. She won't come down. I believe the reason she won't come down is because it is raining and she isn't too sure about flying out of a tree, since this is the first tree she has ever been in.

I was wondering which service worked the best and what methods did they use to get your baby down?

Thanks for your help!

It's really a horrible feeling knowing your pet is out there probably scared and wet.
